Oak Tree Class
This Spring Term has been very different to previous Spring Terms in Oak Tree Class. We have ‘got to grips’ with remote learning and getting used to seeing all our friends on the screen. We have been learning about different well-known traditional stories and started off with the story of Little Red Riding Hood. We made Little Red Riding Hoods out of ‘loo rolls’ and woodland scenes using natural materials such as twigs and leaves. We found out about wolves and what they are really like!! After that, we read the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, we learnt how to measure using our foot prints and drew maps of Goldilocks’s journey through the woods. We made porridge and saw all the different things you can add such as honey, banana, sugar and salt! Finally, we read the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. Oak Tree Class have been building amazing bridges in different ways, adding the three goats and a troll underneath. Although it has been a ‘different’ time in our learning … all Oak Tree Class have been amazing!
